THE FLATS – A high school all-state selection who was ranked as high as 22nd in the nation as a junior golfer, Vincent Whaley follows a line of Texans who have been All-Americans for Georgia Tech, including Matt Weibring, Troy Matteson and Paul Haley, and gone on to earn PGA Tour cards.
Following a strong summer amateur campaign, Whaley played in three fall events and finished 23rd, 29th and 46th, and won his match in the DICK’S Sporting Goods Challenge.
Whaley majors in business administration at Tech.
