The Georgia Tech Athletics brand was developed and created to provide a consistent message and visual representation across all athletic sports and departments.  Refer to this page for any questions regarding the visual identity and direct any questions to ideation@athletics.gatech.edu.

Logos

Georgia Tech Athletics logos are registered trademarks of the institute. Any and all use must be approved before printing, producing or posting any type of materials that contain these logos. Specific uses and guidelines must be followed and are outlined below.

• The fill of the interlocking GT must remain either white or gold.
• No patterns or images are allowed in the interlocking GT.
• The variation of the interlocking GT and Buzz logos are dependent on the background on which the logos are placed.
• Buzz and the Ramblin’ Wreck logos are secondary and should never be used in place of the interlocking GT.
• The interlocking GT cannot be used as a substitution for a letter or as part of a word or phrase.

Wordmark

The iconic Tech Tower letters, the tradition of Georgia Tech and the innovation of our institute inspired a sharp, bold mark that both celebrates our history and points us to the future. Any and all use must be approved before printing, producing or posting any type of materials that contain these logos. For access to logo files, please email ideation@athletics.gatech.edu.

• The wordmark must remain a solid, one-color mark represented in white, Tech Gold or navy.
• No patterns or images are allowed in the wordmark.
• The variation of the wordmark color is dependent on the background on which the wordmark is placed.
• When combining the wordmark with the interlocking GT, the specific lockup combination on the Athletics Marks artsheet must be maintained (i.e. – the wordmark must maintain the same proportion to the interlocking GT).
• The only wordmark lockups allowed are those which are presented on the Athletics Marks artsheet and the following (no internal departments or other names may be used in conjunction with the wordmark):

Colors

White and Tech Gold are key components of Georgia Tech’s visual identity system and are the primary colors available for use by all Georgia Tech units in print and digital work. Tech Gold (Metallic) may be used when printing offset.
