Goldrush members are ambassadors, entertainers, crowd leaders, and student-athletes who uphold the integrity of The Georgia Institute of Technology at all events on campus and in the Atlanta community.
Dancing in the Goldrush program at Georgia Tech is a challenging and rewarding sport. Each student-athlete works hard all year promoting Georgia Tech Athletics, being ambassadors for the Institution, and competing at UDA College Nationals in January each year. Generating Yellow Jacket spirit and crowd involvement at Georgia Tech is the common goal for the program.
Goldrush is a fixture of Georgia Tech Athletics and essential to the Georgia Tech community for promoting school spirit, spreading positivity, and representing Georgia Tech to a national audience.

The Goldrush program attends all home football, basketball, and volleyball games, and is central to many game day traditions at Georgia Tech. Outside of athletics, Goldrush is very active in the Georgia Tech and Atlanta community. Each year, Goldrush attends events on and off campus in addition to GT athletics events. These include campus engagement events, alumni galas, corporate mixers, charity events, and much more. Every January, Goldrush competes in Orlando, Florida at the Universal Dance Association’s national competition. This year Goldrush competed in both the hip-hop and jazz divisions.
