Georgia Tech Cheerleading members are ambassadors, entertainers, crowd leaders, and student-athletes who uphold the integrity of The Georgia Institute of Technology at all events on campus and in the Atlanta community.
Competing for the Georgia Tech Cheerleading program is a challenging and rewarding sport. Each student-athlete works hard all year promoting Georgia Tech Athletics, being ambassadors for the Institution, and competing at NCA College Nationals in April each year. Generating Yellow Jacket spirit and crowd involvement at Georgia Tech is the common goal for the program.
Georgia Tech Cheerleading is a fixture of Georgia Tech Athletics and essential to the Georgia Tech community for promoting school spirit, spreading positivity, and representing Georgia Tech to a national audience.

The Georgia Tech Cheerleading program attends all home football, basketball, and volleyball games, and is central to many game day traditions here at Georgia Tech. Outside of athletics, Georgia Tech Cheer is very active in the Georgia Tech and Atlanta community. Each year, Georgia Tech Cheer members attend events on and off campus in addition to Georgia Tech athletics events. These include campus engagement events, alumni galas, corporate mixers, charity events, and much more. Every April, the cheerleading program competes at NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. This 2023 season the program competed in both the NCA and UCA coed cheerleading divisions.
