THE FLATS – One of the nation’s top 30 junior golfers and one of the top 15 in the class of 2014, Chris Petefish graduated from high school early and enrolled at Georgia Tech last January for the spring semester.
Petefish worked himself into the lineup for Tech’s final two fall events, tying for 25th place at the United States Collegiate Championship after closing with a 68, then tying for 29th at the Princeville Makai Invitational (3-under-poar 213).
Petefish had a pair of top-10 finishes in big amateur events over the summer, and was a second-team Rolex Junior All-American before enrolling at Tech.
