2020 Amateur Highlights:  Enjoyed a strong fall playing regional amateur events, including a fifth-place finish (205, -9) in late December at the Orlando International Amateur … Tied for sixth place at the South Beach International Amateur (277, -6) in mid-December … Tied for 35th at the Southeastern Amateur in Columbus, Ga. Played in one spring event, tying for 67th place (230, +14) at the Southern Highlands Collegiate, competing as an individual … Earned a spot in the starting lineup three times in Tech’s four fall events, and played as an individual at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational (T58) … Tied for 14th at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational (213, +3) and tied for 48th at the Carpet Capital Collegiate (229, +13) … Went 3-0 in his matches to help Tech win the Cypress Point Classic, beating Duke’s QiWen Wong, 6 and 4, to win his singles match, and teaming with Andy Ogletree to defeat California in fourball and UCLA in foursomes.

2019 Amateur Highlights: Won the Michigan Amateur Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club … Won the 36-hole stroke-play portion by four strokes with scores of 68-65 (-7), then won six straight matches to capture the title … Picked up second win in the KCC Invitational, a two-man team event in Kalamazoo, Mich., teaming with junior golfer Braden Falk for a 6&5 victory in the final.

Competed twice as an individual in the fall, tying for 58th at the Carpet Capital Collegiate and for 34th at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational … Compiled a stroke average of 74.17 over six rounds … Went 1-1 in his two matches at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational.

2018 Summer Highlights: Advanced to match play at the Michigan State Amateur (Country Club of Detroit) by finishing third in stroke play (70-69, -3) … T58 at the Monroe Invitational in Pittsford, N.Y.

2017 Summer Highlights: Won the Michigan Junior State Amateur for the second year in a row, topping Eric Nunn, 2 and 1, at Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath … Became the third golfer in state history to win the junior championship on consecutive years, and the first since match play was instituted in 2000.
