AUBURN, Ala. – Georgia Tech outdoor track and field concluded the Tiger Track Classic on Saturday night, turning in 10 personal records in day two at Auburn.
In addition to the PRs, the Yellow Jackets recorded 15 top-10 finishes to wrap up the weekend.
“We got things off to a great start Friday night, but it felt like we were spinning our wheels today,” head men’s coach Grover Hinsdale said. “I know the wind was a factor on the overall races but, as a whole, I don’t think we were completely vested in the mission. I will say that Maurice Simpson had a very nice day. Time to reset and prepare for a very important home meet next weekend.”
Tech returns to the track next at home when it hosts the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 20-21.
