PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS

Cink captured his fifth win of the 2026 season in style, defeating Miguel Angel Jiménez with a birdie on the first playoff hole (No. 18) at the 21st Boeing Classic. With the victory, Cink became the first player with five victories in a single season on PGA TOUR Champions since 2023.

Cink began the final round four strokes back in a tie for 10th and closed with a 7-under-par 65 to force the playoff. The 53-year-old finished the tournament 68-71-65 – 204 (-12) for his ninth overall on PGA TOUR Champions in his 50th start. No stranger to a playoff, Cink has now won three PGA TOUR Championships in playoff fashion, and also won the 2009 Open Championship in a playoff while on the PGA TOUR.

KORN FERRY TOUR

Ross Steelman earned his 2027 PGA TOUR card, moving atop the Korn Ferry Tour Points List after winning the Boise Open, his second Korn Ferry Tour win of the summer. Steelman earned his first Korn Ferry Tour last month at The Blue Championship.

Steelman birdied four of the first five holes en route to a 7-under-par 64 in the final round on Sunday. His winning total of 27-under-par 257 tied the 10th-lowest 72-hole score in Korn Ferry Tour history.

With the victory, Steelman becomes one of three players this season as multi-time winners on Tour. Steelman finished No. 56 on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List in his first full season on Tour.

The Yellow Jacket alum will officially receive his PGA TOUR card at the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship, scheduled for Oct. 8-11 at The Federal Club in Glen Allen, Va.
