HALEY ONLY JACKET TO MAKE THE WEEKEND AT TORRY PINES

Three Yellow Jackets competed at last weekend’s Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego, but only Paul Haley II managed to make the cut, and struggled at the finish with a final-round 77 to tie for 62md place (294., +6). Anders Albertson and Richy Werenski missed the cut.

Haley remains inside the top 125 in his return to the PGA Tour, making six cuts in nine events with a high finish of T12 at the season-opening Fortinet Championship. Matt Kuchar, who did not play at Torrey Pines, leads the Tech contingent on Tour at No. 69, with Stewart Cink, who also did not play last weekend, at No. 131.

The Tour moves up the coast to Pebble Beach this weekend for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Kuchar re-joins the competition along with Haley, Albertson, Werenski and Chesson Hadley.

KORN FERRY TOUR, CHAMPIONS TOUR OPEN 2023 SEASONS

Seth Reeves entered the two events in The Bahamas as the Korn Ferry Tour opened its 2023 season, missing the cut at the Great Exuma Classic and withdrawing from the Great Abaco Classic.
