Former Jacket Matteson on Golf Channel Monday

Sept. 19, 2005

Former Georgia Tech golf standout Troy Matteson will appear live on The Golf Channel Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Kraft Nabisco Shootout.

Matteson, a late addition to the match, will pair with Jason Gore, who earned notoriety this summer for his play in the U.S. Open and just won his first PGA Tour title yesterday, the 84 Lumber Classic.

Matteson and Gore will take on LPGA stars Annika Sorenstam and Grace Park.

A 2003 Georgia Tech graduate, Matteson was an all-America for the Yellow Jackets and captured the 2002 NCAA championship. He is currently one of the money leaders on the Nationwide Tour and has an excellent chance to earn PGA Tour status for 2006.
