After picking up a dominating Atlantic Coast Conference win against then-No. 20 North Carolina on Sunday, the Jackets look to continue their winning ways on Thursday. Tech picked up its 10th home win of the season, 55-38, behind a double-double from Digna Strautmane, who posted 14 points and 11 rebounds. Lorela Cubaj nearly missed a double-double with 10 rebounds and nine points, while Lotta-Maj Lahtinen added 12 points in the victory. Tech held UNC to 38 points, marking the fifth time this season the Jackets have held an opponent to 40 points or less.
Boston College has won six of its past seven outings, including two-straight. In conference play, the Eagles have dropped decisions only to North Carolina and a pair to Louisville. In its last outing, Boston College picked up a 79-66 win over Miami. Taylor Soule leads the Eagles offensively, averaging 15.8 points per game. Maria Gakdeng paces the Eagles on the boards, securing 5.7 rebounds per game.
Georgia Tech and Boston College are meeting on the hardwood for the 22nd time in program history. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series, 14-7, but the Eagles have taken two of the past three meetings.
