Winners of three of the last four, Georgia Tech looks to extend its win streak when it visits Miami on Sunday for the second game in the home-and-home. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a statement win last Thursday, defeating No. 15/13 NC State in McCamish Pavilion, 68-62. Three Yellow Jackets posted double-figure scoring numbers, paced by Tonie Morgan with 17 points and 10 assists for her fourth double-double of the season.
Miami comes into the Sunday matinee having split its last four outings, most recently, escaping with a 69-66 overtime win at Clemson. Destiny Harden and Haley Cavinder lead the Hurricanes on the season, averaging 12.5 and 12.3 points per game, respectively. Miami boasts a 4-1 ACC record when competing at home, having dropped its only home loss of conference play to Notre Dame on Dec. 29.
Miami took the first meeting between the squads this season, surviving with a 69-60 victory on Jan. 12 in McCamish Pavilion. The win pushed its win streak to three-straight over Georgia Tech, improving its lead in the all-time series to 20-17. Tech seeks its first win at Miami since a 70-56 victory on Jan. 28, 2021.
