Nissan #ProJackets Baseball Report

June 7, 2017

THE FLATS — Georgia Tech #ProJackets continue to be led by the play of both Charlie Blackmon and Matt Wieters at the Major League Baseball level, while a number of Jackets such as Sam ClayDeck McGuire, Daniel Spingola and Kyle Wren are having strong seasons in the minor leagues.

Blackmon continues his stellar season at the plate for the Colorado Rockies, as he has hit .300 (12-for-40) with a home run, a triple, two doubles, two RBIs and seven runs scored over his last 10 games. Over his last four games, three games at San Diego and a home contest versus the Cleveland Indians, he has registered two hits in each contest and gone 8-for-17 (.471) overall.

Wieters continues to produce for the Washington Nationals at the plate, as he has driven in a total of five RBIs over his last five games on the team’s west coast swing.

Below is a complete list of the Baseball #ProJackets in the majors this season.
