With two games left of the regular season, Georgia Tech looks to return to winnings ways and snap a two-game skid at Florida State on Thursday. A win would complete the season sweep of the Seminoles as the Jackets took the first meeting in Atlanta in January, 68-64. Most recently, Georgia Tech fell to Miami last Sunday on a slow offensive performance day from the Jackets. Four Jackets are averaging double-figure scoring totals on the season paced by Lotta-Maj Lahtinen at 11.0 points per game.
Florida State, hosting its Senior Night on Thursday, has won two of its past four games, but most recently dropped a game against North Carolina. The Seminoles boast a 10-4 record at home this season, including a 5-3 ACC record. Morgan Jones leads FSU, averaging 14.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Georgia Tech took the first meeting this season against FSU in McCamish Pavilion in January. The Jackets trailed by seven points with less than four minutes to play, but rallied to collect the 68-64 victory. With the win, Tech closed the all-time series record to 27-25 in favor of the Seminoles. Georgia Tech has taken five straight meetings against FSU dating back to 2020.
