THE FLATS – Stewart Cink contends, Matt Kuchar and David Duval play well in the PNC Challenge … Reagan Cink to continue on Dad’s bag for another year … Cameron Tringale just outside of top 50 in OWGR … More details below in this week’s Georgia Tech #ProJackets Report.

TECH TEAMS FARE WELL AT PNC CHAMPIONSHIP
Stewart Cink and his son Reagan fired a 13-under-par 59 in the opening round, one of three sub-60 rounds posted in the event, and tied for third place at last weekend’s PNC Championship in Orlando, Fla. With a 24-under-par score of 120 in the annual father-son scramble event, Team Cink finished just behind John Daly and his son John, Jr., who shot 60-57 for a 27-under-par total of 117, and Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie, who posted a 25-under 119.
After posting 10 birdies in the first 13 holes of the final round, Team Cink could only manage a par at the par-5 14th which stalled their momentum while attempting to become the fifth team to claim multiple PNC Championship titles.
Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron finished seventh at 20-under-par 124, and David Duval and his son Brady tied for 13th at 16-under-par 128.

REAGAN CINK STICKING TO DAD’S BAG, BUT ENJOYS BEING PARTNER
When Reagan Cink first joined his father, eight-time PGA Tour winner Stewart, between the ropes as his caddie it was originally planned as a one-week deal.
“It was the Safeway Open and that plan quickly expanded into further into the year,” Stewart Cink said Saturday at the PNC Championship.
Cink won that 2020 Safeway Open and the duo decided to keep the band together for a year which led to another victory for the 48-year-old at the RBC Heritage and more decisions between father and son/caddie.
The current plan is for Reagan Cink to caddie one more year, although, he said the current conversation has an “indefinitely” option. The younger Cink added that playing alongside his father at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, where the duo leads by two shots following an opening 13-under 59 in the scramble format, is an upgrade over caddying.

TRINGALE JUST SHORT OF TOP 50 WORLD RANKING TO EARN MASTERS INVITE
The Official World Golf Ranking for this week and the final week of 2021 were released on Sunday, the numbers crunchers able to calculate both simultaneously thanks to the fact that there are no events that earn World Ranking points left to be played this December. Augusta National traditionally invites the top 50 in the final yearly ranking to play the following April. Of those 50, 10 players still were looking for a way to in the field and can now make plans for the second week of April.
🚨BREAKING🚨
This is the final projection of the Top 50 in the world rankings at the end of the year (31 Dec 2021). #OWGR @Minwoo27Lee and Takumi Kanaya are the latest two players to move in and both should receive invitations for @TheMasters 2022!! pic.twitter.com/0fOzE6A2fv
