Season Opening Success: The Yellow Jackets improved to 28-10 (.737) all-time on opening day with the win over Alabama State. Georgia Tech is 21-4 since 1978-79 when opening the season at home. In head coach MaChelle Joseph’s nine years, Tech is 9-0 in season openers and 7-0 in openers at home.

On This Date: Georgia Tech is 2-0 when playing on November 13. The two wins: 63-30 over Winthrop at home to open the 2009-10 season and 66-61 at Tulane in the second game of the 2007-08 season.

Each of the last three classes to graduate from Tech has set the record, which currently stands at 91 by the 2011 class of Alex Montgomery and Deja Foster. Currently, the 2012 class has 70 wins and would need 21 to tie the mark of 91.
