Tech Women's Hoops to Host Princeton Sunday

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s women’s basketball team returns from the Thanksgiving break with a 2-0 record and will host the Princeton Tigers Sunday at Alexander Memorial Coliseum. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on WREK-Radio, 91.1 FM in Atlanta, and online at www.wrek.org, while livestats for the Jackets’ third game of the season will be available at www.ramblinwreck.com.

The Jackets have been led in scoring this season by a trio of underclassmen, led by sophomore guard Stephanie Higgs, who is averaging 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 assists per game, while starting freshmen Jill Ingram and Chioma Nnamaka have combined for 25 points, 9.5 rebounds, seven steals and three assists per game through the first two contests of the season.

Princeton enters the game at 1-2 after dropping a 76-43 decision at Wake Forest Friday evening.
