>> Winners of seven ACC Tournament titles, the Georgia Tech baseball team begins the 2012 tournament Wednesday morning versus top-seeded Florida State at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C.

>> Tech is in Pool A with FSU, fourth-seeded Virginia and fifth-seeded Clemson. The Jackets battle Virginia Friday at 11 a.m., and Clemson on Saturday at 11 a.m. The top team from each pool meet for the ACC Championship on Sunday at 12 p.m.

>> All 13 games can been seen live on television, with pool play on RSN and ESPN3, and Sunday’s championship game on ESPN2. You can listen to the Jackets on WREK 91.1 FM Atlanta.

>> Georgia Tech reached the 30-win mark for the 30th consecutive season, and is playing in the ACC Tournament for the 33rd straight year. Tech has been to every ACC Tournament since joining the league in 1980.

>> Four Yellow Jackets earned All-ACC honors as junior RHP Buck Farmer and junior LF Brandon Thomas were selected to the First Team, and senior 1B Jake Davies and sophomore RF Daniel Palka earned mention on the Second Team. Davies and Farmer were on last season’s Second Team.

>> Tech has claimed seven conference tournament titles (1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 2000, 2003, 2005), and only Clemson (nine) has won more.
