>> First pitch has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m. in a game that can be seen on and heard on WREK 91.1 FM in Atlanta with Nolan Alexander and Wade Rogers on the call.

>> Tech’s 11-1 record through 12 games is the best since a similar 11-1 start in 2010. This year marks the ninth time under head coach Danny Hall that the Jackets have started 11-1 or better — all eight previous teams advanced to the NCAA Regional and two to the College World Series.

>>Mercer has won eight straight and its 11-1 start is the best in school history.

>> Junior Zane Evans is the reigning ACC Player of the Week after hitting .579 last week with four homers and nine RBI. He leads the ACC with five home runs.

>> Seven Tech players currently own hitting streaks of four games or longer, including seven-game streaks by Mott Hyde, Sam Dove and Matt Gonzalez. Three players — Brandon Thomas, A.J. Murray and Daniel Palka — have reached base in all 12 games.

>> Daniel Palka is second in the ACC in average (.489) and slugging (.800), and leads the conference with 20 RBI. He’s driven in at least a run in seven-straight games and nine of the 12 games.

>> The Jackets lead the ACC in batting average (.350), hits (149) and home runs (12), and four Jackets currently rank among the top 14 in hitting in the league.
