THE FLATS – Sophomore Grant Wruble finished 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run and #TeamHyde led wire-to-wire in a 7-2 victory over #TeamIsaacs in Game 2 of the White-Gold Series Thursday at Russ Chandler Stadium. Hyde’s team has won the first two games of the best-of-7 series.

Sophomore righty Joe Wiseman (1.2 innings, 0 hits, 1 walk) and freshman RHP Zac Ryan (2.0 innings, 1 hit, 2 strikeouts) tossed shutout ball behind Stanton as #TeamHyde expanded the lead.
Sophomore 3B Matt Gonzalez’s sac fly made it 2-0 in the fifth, and #TeamHyde blew it open with a four-run, five-hit uprising in the sixth highlighted by back-to-back RBI doubles from rookies Zentko and Innis.
Junior A.J. Murray had three of #TeamIsaacs’ seven hits and his two-RBI double in the eighth ended the shutout.
