THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball announced its 2022 promotional schedule on Friday, highlighted by Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Taylor Swift Tuesday and Greek Night, among others. Mewborn Field is slated for a host of fan giveaways based on special themes and events throughout the 2022 season.
The Jackets will kick off the season with the Buzz Classic on Feb. 11 against St. Joseph’s and Villanova beginning at 3:30 p.m., accompanied by a long-sleeve Georgia Tech t-shirt giveaway. The season-opening tournament will be wrapped up with a 1 p.m. contest against Marshall for Tech’s Anti-Valentine’s Day, including a theme opposite of the traditional holiday. Breast Cancer Awareness night will follow on Feb. 15 against Georgia State at 5 p.m., including an adidas “Fight” t-shirt giveaway.
Activities in store for the season include Taylor Swift Tuesday on March 22 at 4 p.m. featuring a night filled with Taylor Swift. a post-game egg hunt following a game against NC State on April 17 at noon and Senior Day against Charlotte on April 23 at 3 p.m. Following a brief pregame introduction, Senior Day recognitions will take place post game.

2022 SOFTBALL TICKETS
Season tickets remain on sale and can be purchased HERE. Season tickets are located in the reserved chairback sections of Mewborn Field and cost $100 per seat. Season ticket members enjoy every game in the same seat for a discounted rate.
2022 single-game tickets for all home contests are also on sale and can be purchased HERE.

Youth/Senior GA Bench: $2
Group (10+) GA Bench: $2
Standing room only tickets will be sold for $2 each if all other sections are sold out. Georgia Tech students and faculty/staff can receive free admission to regular season home games while seats remain available by showing a valid BuzzCard at the entrance.
