Enrolled at Tech in January of 2010, but did not play until the fall, establishing himself as Tech’s regular No. 5 player … Has been a regular part of Tech’s lineup since, posting six top-10 finishes, including four in the top-5, in 40 events … Twice named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll, and to the ACC All-Academic team … Qualified for the U.S Amateur four times.

2013-14: – Tournament Results

Rebounded from a tough junior year to enjoy a fine senior campaign, posting two top-5 finishes at the Carpet Capital Collegiate and the Tar Heel Collegiate and earning GCAA All-East Region honors … Runner-up at the Tar Heel (212, -4), one shot behind Seth Reeves … Also shot under par at the Carpet Capital and the Puerto Rico Classic … Fired a final-round 62 (-10) at the Puerto Rico Classic, matching the second-low round in Tech history … T30 at the Valspar Invitational and T20 at the Robert Kepler Invitational in his last two starts … Played well at the Capital City Club Match Play, defeating Auburn’s Will Long, 5&4, and Georgia’s Michael Cromie (ranked 42nd in the nation), 4&3 … Ranked No. 115 in Golfstat and No. 123 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Index, close to his career best (No. 121 after the spring of 2012) … Finished T69 at the NCAA Championship, highest of his career … Finished T28, T48 and T15 in his three career NCAA regional starts … Stroke average was 72.70 over 33 rounds.

2013 Summer Highlights: Finished second in U.S. Amateur qualifier in Brewster, Mass. … Tied for 9th place in stroke play, lost in first round of match play … T5 at the Southern Amateur (-10), two shots out of a playoff … T12 at Northeast Amateur (+3) … T29 at Porter Cup (+2) … T35 at The Dogwood Invitational (-2) … T36 at the Players Amateur (+2) … T41 at Sunnehanna Amateur.

2012-13: – Tournament Results

Played in six events and averaged 74.5 … Inconsistent for most of the year, firing one round in the 60s in three fa;; events but never finishing higher than 45th … Best finish was a tie for 34th at the Amer Ari Invitational (71-70-75) to start the spring … Shot 74-83 in the Linger Longer Invitational and did not see action after that … T12 at the Patriot All-America Invitational in late December.

2012 Summer Highlights: Won the Porter Cup (-17) by two strokes, 2nd lowest score ever posted in the event … Two days later finished 2nd in a U.S. Amateur qualifier in South Hadley, Mass. … T11 at the Dogwood Invitational … T37 at the Southern Amateur … T38 at the Northeast Amateur … T41 at the Players Amateur.

2011-12: – Tournament Results

Became a solid 3 or 4 in the lineup … Qualified for every event in the spring and earned his best finish at the ACC Championship (T7) … Though he had only three top-20 finishes, never finished below 38th in eight regular-season events … Had team’s fifth-best stroke average at 72.6 … Been very consistent, scoring between 211 and 219 for 54 holes during the regular season … Posted a T9 in the fall Brickyard Collegiate … Ranked 121st in the Golfweek/Sagarin ratings, 156th in the Golfstat Cup … Had a 524-228 (.697) head-to-head winning percentage … Finished the fall with the team’s second-best stroke average at 72.2 … Shot 1-under-par in the Brickyard Collegiate with a closing 68 to place 9th and help Tech finish in 1st … Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2011 Summer Highlights: Tied for 2nd at Southern Amateur in Tampa, Fla. (278, -6) and the Northern Amateur in Chesterton, Ind. (206, -9) … 2nd at New England Amateur in East Providence, R.I. (273, -7) … Tied for 10th at the Canadian Amateur in Winnepeg, Manitoba … (282, -2) …Tied for 38th at the Sunnehanna Amateur in Johnstown, Pa. (286, +6) … Tied for 45th at the Northeast Amateur in Rumford, R.I. (282, +6).

2010-11: – Tournament Results

Grabbed the fifth spot in the Tech lineup early on and kept it, posting two top-10 finishes and one other top-20 in nine events … Tied for fourth at the USCC with his best score of the year (4-under 212), T5 at the Yellow Jacket Classic and T20 in Puerto Rico … Went 3-1 in the Callaway Match Play Championship … Had a 74.06 stroke average over 32 rounds … Ranked 139th in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index.

ACC Championship experience: Has a T21 and a T7 in his two championships, averaging 71.5 over 6 rounds.

NCAA Championship experience: T28 at his first NCAA regional (8-over 224) … T102 at the NCAA Championship … Won his match vs. Augusta State, rallying from 5 holes down to defeat Olle Bengtsson in 19 holes … T48 at 2012 NCAA regional.
