One of the nation[apos]s top-ranked amateur players, ranked sixth in the nation in the Golfweek amateur rankings at the end of his Georgia Tech career … Was named to the U.S. Walker Cup team in 2005 (went 1-1 in his matches to help USA defeat Great Britain and Ireland, 12.5-11.5) and qualified for the U.S. Amateur as well.
