>> No. 19 Georgia Tech and Georgia meet Tuesday night at Turner Field in the annual Kauffman Tire Spring Baseball Classic for Kids. The game has averaged nearly 20,000 in attendance over its 10 years and all proceeds benefit Children’s Neurosciences Program.

>> Tuesday’s first pitch is set for 7 p.m. and is live on Fox Sports South with Dave Neal and Larry Conley, while Nolan Alexander and Wade Rogers have the call on WREK 91.1 FM.

>> The Jackets are 9-3 over the last 12 games versus Georgia, including a 7-5 win on April 9 in Athens. Tech is looking to win the season series for the fourth-consecutive year, and has not lost a series to UGA since 2008. The Bulldogs have won seven of the 10 previous games at Turner Field.

>> Last year’s game at Turner Field drew a crowd of 19,669 and Kyle Wren’s ninth-inning RBI double scored Mott Hyde as Tech beat Georgia, 4-3.

>> Wren triggered his current eight-game hitting streak at Georgia on April 9 and is hitting .357 over the streak with two doubles, a triple, six walks, three strikeouts and is 4-for-4 in steals. Wren is leading the ACC in hits (64) and is second in stolen bases (22).

>> Senior CF Brandon Thomas’ average of .400 is second-best in the ACC. The Atlanta native has the third-most doubles in the league (13). Daniel Palka and Zane Evans share the ACC lead with 11 home runs.

>> Tech’s .317 average and .474 slugging percentage are ranked second in the ACC, while the 38 homers lead the league.
