>> No. 15 Georgia Tech looks to stay in the thick of the ACC Baseball race with a Coastal Division showdown versus Duke this weekend at Jack Coombs Field in Durham, N.C.

>> The series is underway Friday at 6 p.m., continues Saturday at 1 p.m. and wraps up Sunday at 1 p.m. Nolan Alexander and Wade Rogers will have the call of all three games on WREK 91.1 FM, while live video streaming is available at GoDuke.com.

>> The Jackets have won three of four ACC series this season and at 8-4, sit 1.5 games back of Coastal Division leader North Carolina. Duke has won four consecutive overall, including a sweep of Boston College last weekend at home.

>> Junior CF Kyle Wren brings an ACC-leading 18-game hitting streak into the weekend. He’s hitting .500 (39-for-78) over the streak, which is the fifth-longest in the NCAA this season. Wren leads the conference in ACC hitting (.520) and his overall average of .411 is second. He’s second in the ACC with 18 steals.

>> Senior RHP Buck Farmer is 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA in two career starts versus Duke. Farmer is 6-0 in 2013 with the ACC’s fifth-best ERA of 1.34. Tech is 7-0 in games that he has started this season.

>> Junior RHP Dusty Isaacs earned ACC Pitcher of the Week honors after tossing seven, one-hit shutout innings with a career-high eight Ks in the 8-1 win over Wake that clinched the series.

>> Tech entered the week continuing to lead the nation in batting average, slugging and home runs per game and was second in scoring. The Jackets also lead the ACC in average (.339), slugging (.502), runs (247) and homers (29). Four of league’s top 10 hitters are Jackets, including ACC leaders Brandon Thomas (.441) and Kyle Wren (.411).
