THE FLATS – With the 2015-16 baseball season winding down, a number of #ProJackets are heating up as they look to close out the year on a high note.
The Colorado Rockies’ Charlie Blackmon is hitting .345 with four home runs, six RBIs and eight runs scored over his last seven games, and according to ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsinfo) he holds the MLB lead with nine leadoff home runs this season.
Also playing well in September is Derek Dietrich. Dietrich, who made a stop by Russ Chandler Stadium this week while the Miami Marlins were playing the Atlanta Braves, is hitting .313 with two RBIs and three runs scored over his last seven games.
In the minor league ranks, Daniel Spingola’s Myrtle Beach Pelicans won their second straight Carolina League Title this week.
Below is a complete list of the Baseball #ProJackets currently playing in Major League Baseball or with a minor league team affiliate.
Look who swung by the Flats today while he is in town with the @marlins.
