>> ACC Coastal Division rivals Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech clash this weekend in Atlanta with the Yellow Jackets looking to remain hot at Russ Chandler Stadium.

>> All three games can be seen on ESPN3, while Saturday’s game is the ACC Game of the Week on the regional sports networks, including Fox Sports South.

>> Tech is 20-9 at home this season (8-4 in league play), averaging 6.1 runs per game and hitting .301 as a team. Of the Jackets’ 15 triples and 15 home runs this season, 13 and 14, respectively, have come at home.

>> The Yellow Jackets sit 12-12 in the ACC, all alone in fourth-place in the Coastal and eighth-place overall, but are just three games back of fourth-place Duke. The top 10 teams qualify for the ACC Tournament May 20-25 in Greensboro, N.C.

>> Behind one of the ACC’s best middle infield duos of 2B Mott Hyde and SS Connor Justus, the Jackets lead the NCAA in double plays (56). Tech is fielding .974 in ACC games.
