TOP STORYLINES

• Georgia Tech baseball remains at home in its four-games-in-five-days stretch, hosting North Carolina on April 6-8.

• North Carolina is Tech’s fourth-most common opponents, having played 152 times since 1901 with Tech holding a 82-70 advantage over the Tar Heels.

• Tech has won the last three series between the two teams.

• Down two of its weekend starters, Tech’s pitched staff performed admirably well stretched thin against then-No. 13 Boston College.

• Both Luke Schmolke and Jackson Finley turned in quality starts of 5.0 innings and less than three runs.

• In both Game 1 and 2, the bullpens held strong to keep Tech leading (Game 1) or within two runs (Game 2), but Tech split the opening two games to set up a deciding third game.

• Tech also gets Friday-night starter Dawson Brown back against UNC after missing the Boston College series due to precaution.

• Tech has been red-hot at the plate, ranking No. 2 in the ACC in average (.320) with seven .300 hitters in the lineup: Kristian Campbell (.450), Jake DeLeo (.409), Angelo Dispigna (.360), Jackson Finley (.358), Stephen Reid (.330), Jadyn Jackson (.318) and Jack Rubenstein (.314).

• Campbell was blistering hot against Boston College, going 8-for-10 with two doubles and four runs. He drew four walks for an on-base percentage of .867.

• He then hit his first collegiate home run against Georgia Southern on Tuesday.

• Jackson Finley also blasted two home runs on Tuesday, including a 116 mph, 461-foot moonshot.
