Jackets Conclude Home Stand with Jacksonville Sunday

Atlanta – The Jackets (4-3) host the Jacksonville University Dolphins (4-2) this Sunday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. in the Alexander Memorial Coliseum for the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

Tech is coming off a 38-point win over Kennesaw State Wednesday. Stephanie Higgs was Tech’s top scorer in that contest, notching 16, followed by Janie Mitchell with 15 points and Chioma Nnamaka and Jacqua Williams who both scored 14.

This will be Tech’s second consecutive meeting with an Atlantic Sun team and third this season. The Jackets defeated Atlantic Sun Conference member Mercer, 87-48, in the season opener.

Sunday’s game will be the last of a three-game home stand for the Jackets, who will hit the road for a Dec. 18 match up with Northwestern followed by a game against the College of Charleston on Dec. 20.

Tickets for the game against Jacksonville, $4 for adults and $2 for children and senior citizens, can be purchased at the door or at the ticket office on the Georgia Tech Campus. Doors for the game will open at noon Sunday.
