ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech women’s basketball team will begin its two-game road trip in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Thursday when it faces the Boston College Eagles at 7 p.m. at Conte Forum. The Yellow Jackets will continue on to Raleigh following the game to face NC State Sunday at 2 p.m. before returning to Atlanta for their final home game of the season the following Sunday.
Both games will be broadcast on the Georgia Tech ISP Sports Radio Network, WREK-91.1 FM in Atlanta, and online at www.wrek.org.
Tech and BC will be facing each other for just the third time in history, and it will be the first meeting between the two schools since 1997. Tech owns a 2-0 edge in the series with wins against the Eagles in Miami in 1991 and at Alexander Memorial Coliseum in 1997. The Jackets have never faced Boston College at Conte Forum.

Sophomores Chioma Nnamaka and Janie Mitchell join Higgs in double figures in the scoring column, as Nnamaka is averaging 11.6 points and Mitchell is scoring 10.5 points per game.
The Eagles are led by Brooke Queenan, who is averaging 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, while Kindyll Dorsey is scoring 10.6 points per game and is BC’s top three-point shooter, with 47 treys this season.
