Only weeks away from beginning the most exciting schedule this program has ever seen, the team is full of mixed emotions. We are so excited to embrace the challenges that lie ahead, we are so anxious to finally play a real game after we have worked so hard this preseason and from that we are preparing ourselves every way possible.
We are still working hard in the weight room to maintain our strength, and academically we have all been proactive in our preparations for the classroom because we know that putting the hard work in now right before our busy season starts will help set us up for end of semester success.
Practice has been exciting. We have a lot of new talent as well as a lot of experienced players who are coming out more competitive than ever. We have the tallest team that we have had for a while and we are working hard to learn all our offenses and defenses to display our new athleticism. With our first game only a few weeks away we are hoping that you can come out and watch us play. We are young, fast and exciting and our goal is to reach the Sweet 16 and even beyond. We would love to have you all on-board to help us achieve our goal. Your support is a BIG part of our success and this season we have no doubt we will be successful.
