Georgia Tech fans can purchase tickets to the College World Series by calling the Tech ticket office at 1.888.TECH.TIX.
The Yellow Jackets (50-16) earned their third trip to the College World Series by sweeping the College of Charleston in the Atlanta Super Regional, capped by Saturday’s 12-3 clinching victory.
The 60th annual College World Series is scheduled for June 16-26 at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb.
Tech, the No. 8 national seed, opens the CWS on Friday against No. 1 seed Clemson at 2 p.m. ET. Friday’s other matchup pits North Carolina against Cal State Fullerton at 7 p.m. ET. Rice, Georgia, Miami and Oregon State round out the field and will begin play Saturday.
The Jackets are guaranteed to play two games in the double elimination format, which features two four-team brackets and then a best-of-three series between the two bracket winners. Tech’s second game will be on Sunday, at either 2 p.m. ET or 7 p.m. ET.
All College World Series games will be nationally televised on the ESPN networks. Radio coverge for Tech’s games will be available on WREK 91.1 FM.
The Tech ticket office is currently selling tickets for the Georgia Tech games only on Friday and Sunday. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased by calling 1.888.TECH.TIX.
