THE FLATS – A 30-point performance helped Georgia Tech freshman Elizabeth Balogun repeat as ACC Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday. The weekly award marks the second for the freshman who picked up her first Rookie of the Week honor on Dec. 17.
Balogun helped the Yellow Jackets to a 1-1 week in the West Palm Beach Invitational this past week, uprooting Seton Hall before falling to Dayton. The Chattanooga, Tenn., native dropped a game-high 30 points against Seton Hall, going 12-for-21 from the field, while securing six rebounds, two assists, two steals and a season-high four blocks.
