THE FLATS — Coming off a postseason run to the WNIT Championship game in 2016-17, the Georgia Tech women’s basketball team will face 18 opponents that reached post-season play last season in 2017-18. The Jackets will host 16 regular season opponents in McCamish Pavilion this season as the ACC office released the conference portion of the schedule on Thursday.
“We are excited about the opportunity to compete in the best women’s basketball conference in the country,” noted head coach MaChelle Joseph. “The ACC is as strong as it has ever been, and we look forward to the challenges we will face every night. It’s exciting for us to open at home against Louisville on December 28. With five seniors and a core nucleus of our team returning, we are very optimistic about our ability to become a factor in the ACC race this season.”
