Georgia Tech continues its busy week with a midweek visit to Pitt on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a dominating win over Virginia on Sunday, defeating the Cavaliers, 67-31, behind a career-high 20 points from Nerea Hermosa. Lorela Cubaj continued her dominant presence, recording her seventh double-double behind 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Pitt comes into the contest off a loss at Louisville and a bye on Sunday. The Panthers have dropped three of their past four outings, and seek their first ACC win of the season. Jayla Everett leads the Panthers, averaging 13.9 points per game. Liatu King paces Pitt on the boards, securing 8.8 rebounds per game on average.
Georgia Tech and Pitt have met on the hardwood 10 times with Georgia Tech leading the all-time series, 7-3. Tech has won four straight contests against the Panthers and have taken six of the past seven meetings. Pitt was last victorious against the Jackets on Jan. 14, 2018 in Pittsburgh by a 68-62 margin.
