ATLANTA – Hosted by Georgia Tech alumnus Stewart Cink, Spotlight: THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola showcases the Playoff Finale for the FedExCup at which the top 30 players on the FedExCup points list battle it out at historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

The FedExCup champion will be crowned at THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola, Cink, a member at East Lake and a 1995 Georgia Tech graduate, currently ranks 15th and won the British Open championship this year. The 30-minute original program debuts on SportSouth on Tuesday, August 25 at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Spotlight: THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola highlights the history and tradition of East Lake Golf Club, also the home course of legendary golfer and Tech graduate Bobby Jones and the oldest golf course in Atlanta. SportSouth takes an inside look at how the 100 plus year-old East Lake Golf Club has returned to its former glory after extensive renovations and the resurgence of a community that had experienced years of deterioration. The Club, which was a social retreat for members of the Atlanta Athletic Club in the early 1900s, now thrives as it prepares to host its ninth TOUR Championship and third Playoff Finale for the FedExCup.

Spotlight: THE TOUR Championship also features the tournament’s charity platform, TICKETS Fore CHARITYTM, and the charitable impact the tournament has on the Atlanta community and showcases the Payne Stewart Award, given at the tournament to a golfer who shows respect for the traditions of the game and a commitment to the game’s heritage of charitable support.
