THE FLATS – Due to impending weather concerns in the forecast on Saturday, Georgia Tech softball has altered its weekend conference series against No. 3 Florida State at Mewborn Field.
The Yellow Jackets (15-5, 0-3 ACC) and Seminoles (19-1, 2-1 ACC) will now square off in a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 2 p.m.
The second game of the doubleheader on Friday will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first game is completed with the stadium being cleared in between contests.
Saturday’s action has been canceled, but the series finale will remain at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets for Saturday’s game will be honored for the second game on Friday, with the original tickets for Friday’s game being honored for the first game on Friday.
