MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Yellow Jackets had three swimmers compete in the pool on Friday, day two of the 2018 NCAA Men’s and Swimming Diving Championships in Minneapolis, Minn.
In the 100 breast event, Georgia Tech had two swimmers in Caio Pumputis and Moises Loschi both compete in the event. The Tech duo coincidentally both touched the wall in a time of 53.53 to place in a tie for 34th-place overall.
After competing in the 200 IM yesterday, freshman Christian Ferraro took part in the 100 fly event on Friday, turning in a time of 46.67 to finish 35th-place overall.
On Saturday, the final day of competition, all four Jackets will be in action in three different events, as junior diver Matt Casillas will compete in the men’s platform dive. Loschi and Pumputis will swim in the 200 breast, while Ferraro will compete in the 200 fly event.
The prelims will start once again at 10 a.m. and the finals will begin at 6 p.m.
