• No. 20 Georgia Tech heads back out on the road to play its fourth road series in its last five overall when it heads to Virginia Tech on April 16-18.
• Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech stand atop the ACC Coastal Division with VT 2.5 games up on the Jackets.
• The Jackets stopped the skid on Sunday when they won 4-2 over Notre Dame and will look to continue in the midweek before a pivotal ACC series against Virginia Tech.
• After a cold series offensively, Tech moves to No. 2 in the ACC, hitting .294 as a team.
• Georgia Tech also finds itself among the ACC’s best in doubles (second), hits (second), on-base percentage (second), slugging percentage (second) and triples (second).
• True freshman Kevin Parada still leads the Jackets and is fifth in the ACC, hitting .368 on 42 hits.
• Also hitting north of .300 is Luke Waddell (.319), Drew Compton (.321), and Tres Gonzalez (.326).
• Gonzalez co-leads the ACC in walks with 25 and is fourth in on-base percentage (.484) while Parada ranks second with 10 doubles.
• The Jackets’ starting rotation of Brant Hurter, Andy Archer and Sam Crawford will look to continue its consistent play.
• In a combined 125.1 innings, the trio has allowed 47 earned runs for a collective ERA of 3.38.
• The three have also combined to a 3.34:1 strikeout to walk ratio.
• Archer’s 2.47 ERA ranks second in the ACC, while Hurter’s 18 strikeouts looking rank fourth.
