Nissan #ProJackets Baseball Report

June 21, 2017

THE FLATS — Georgia Tech added three new #ProJackets with the 2017 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft last week, as Trevor Craport (Baltimore Orioles), Zac Ryan (Los Angeles Angels) and Ryan Peurifoy (Pittsburgh Pirates) were all selected in the draft.

Craport was assigned to the Aberdeen Ironbirds, while Ryan was sent to the Orem Owls. Peurifoy is waiting on his assignment from the Pirates.

While a trio of new Jackets became #ProJackets, another trio in the minor league system made their respective league’s all-star teams. Sam Clay was named a FSL South Division All-Star (Class-A Advanced), while Daniel Spingola earned a spot on the Carolina League South Division All-Star team (Class-A Advanced). Pitcher Deck McGuire was named to the Southern League South Division All-Star roster (Double-A) as well.

With the MLB All-Star Game just around the corner, make sure to go HERE for your All-Star Game Ballot to vote for your #ProJackets!

Below is a complete list of the Baseball #ProJackets in the majors this season.
