McMillan School Record Highlights Stanford Invite

PALO ALTO, Calif. – A school record time in the 10,000m run by D.J. McMillan highlighted the Georgia Tech men’s track and field time at the prestigious Stanford Invitational Friday.

McMillan finished 13th overall in second running of the 10k with a time of 29:22.45. McMillan broke the 17-year old record set by Kevin Graham during the 1995 outdoor season.

Also competing at the meet was junior Patrick Barron who took home 12th place in heat four of the 5,000m run. Barron finished in 14:23.27, a personal best for the distance runner.
