THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball (19-20, 5-10 ACC) is back on The Flats to host 2025 NCAA Regional opponent Mercer (15-17, 3-3 SoCon) on Wednesday night before welcoming Boston College (10-23, 2-7 ACC) for a three-game series April 3-5.

Clear Bag Policy

Parking
Parking will be available in the Family Housing deck with fans being able to start parking two hours prior to first pitch. Be advised, fans parking on Fowler Street or 8th Street may be subject to ticketing.
Storylines
- Tech enters the week with a 19-20 overall record, 5-10 ACC record, after dropping its most recent ACC road series against Louisville.
- Gracyn Tucker’s double to right center on Sunday marked her 100th career hit. The red shirt sophomore also sits one home run shy of 25 career home runs.
- The third baseman holds Tech’s longest active hitting streak of eight games. The streak is her second longest of the season after recording at least one hit in 12 consecutive games earlier this season.
- Holly Medina scored Tech’s one Sunday run off her second career home run. Medina launched the ball over center field in the top of the seventh on a 1-1 count.
- Prior to the ACC series in Kentucky, the Yellow Jackets collected their first two mid-week wins against West Georgia and Georgia State.
- Tech’s 9-0 win over West Georgia was highlighted by its first no-hitter since 2021, thrown by Sydnie Watts.
- Watts made her eighth start of the season, 13th appearance of the season, on Tuesday and faced 15 batters in her 5.0 innings pitched.
- The sophomore was only one walk shy of a perfect game as she surrendered no runs and no hits to West Georgia.
- Jayden Gailey led Tech’s offense on Wednesday against GSU as she went 3 for 3 including one double.
- Alyssa Willer and Tucker share the load leading Tech’s offense with Willer leading the team in batting average (.386), runs (30), and walks (28) while Tucker leads in hits (45), home runs (10), RBI (35), and total bases (88).
Series Notes
- Tech leads the overall series against Mercer, 57-17, including an impressive 31-4 winning record while playing at Mewborn Field.
- Despite dropping the two most recent meetings, Tech has seen wins in seven of the last nine meetings.
- Willer and Emma Simon pitched in one run each in Tech’s three-run performance in the most recent game against Mercer. Tucker saw two hits and two RBI in the 2025 Regional game against the Bears.

Full Steam Ahead
Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics.
