Jackets Host Notre Dame Thursday for Pink Game

THE FLATS – No. 16 Georgia Tech women’s basketball continues this three-game homestand on Thursday, welcoming No. 19 Notre Dame to McCamish Pavilion. The game will serve as Tech’s annual Play4Kay Pink Game. Tip is slated for 8 p.m. on ACC Network.

Atlanta Braves World Series Trophy – Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. to allow fans to view and take photos with the trophy, which will be located at section 101 on the concourse
Item of the Game – A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the “Item of the Game” (pictured below) at the Georgia Tech Team Store will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The team store is located at section 103

 

PARKING: Parking for spectators will be available in the Family Housing Deck located on 10th Street, Fowler Street, O’Keefe Lot and Lower Peters parking deck. The McCamish Pavilion lot will be closed to general fans.

As the regular season winds down, Georgia Tech women’s basketball plays its next-to-last regular season home game on Thursday night. The Yellow Jackets are coming off an overtime thriller against Clemson last Sunday, taming the Tigers, 92-84. Four Jackets finished in double-figures led by a career-high 26 points from Eylia Love. Lorela Cubaj, who was held to 11 points in regulation, doubled her offensive output in overtime and finished with 22 points on the night.

Notre Dame has dropped two of its past three outings, including its most recent contest at Louisville, 73-47. While boasting a perfect 12-0 record when competing at home, the Fighting Irish are 6-5 on the road, including a 3-4 ACC record. Olivia Miles leads Notre Dame, averaging 13.8 points per game, while Maya Dodson averages 12.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game on average.

Georgia Tech and Notre Dame are meeting on the hardwood for the 16th time in program history. The Yellow Jackets seek their first win over the Fighting Irish in Atlanta. Notre Dame leads the all-time series, 14-1.
