GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Myisha Hines-Allen had 22 points and 13 rebounds to help No. 7 Louisville beat Georgia Tech, 60-50, in Friday’s quarterfinals at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.

“I’m very proud of my team,” head coach  said. “We battled every game this year in the ACC against some of the top teams in the country, and you know, we were relentless with our effort, and I’m really pleased with the play of our two seniors, our three seniors, and in particular  and . They have just been tremendous leaders for us on and off the floor and they’ve really helped reestablish the core values in our program, and we feel as though we’ve got a lot to build on and we have a lot to look forward to.” 

ACC leading scorer  finished with 20 points to lead seventh-seeded Georgia Tech, but it came on a 6-for-20 shooting performance. The Yellow Jackets (19-12) shot just 31 percent, including 2 for 10 from 3-point range.

Georgia Tech had clawed to within 54-48, but Hines-Allen buried a tough straightaway with 2:29 left in the game.  hit a long 2 on the game’s final play but the Yellow Jackets fell, 60-50.

Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets are now 16-37 in the ACC Tournament all time. … Georgia Tech had reached the quarterfinals by beating Wake Forest in Thursday’s second round. … Rogers finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

Louisville: Moore missed all nine of her 3-point tries but made 9 of 10 free throws. … Louisville finished with a 45-37 rebounding advantage and scored 16 second-chance points. … Cortnee Walton had 11 rebounds.

Georgia Tech will wait to find out its postseason fate. 

Louisville will play the North Carolina State-Syracuse winner in Saturday’s semifinals.
