Georgia Tech #ProJackets Football Report

THE FLATS – A pair of career highs and a season high lead the way in Week 11’s edition of #ProJackets in the National Football League.

Juanyeh Thomas had a monster game this weekend, racking up a career high four total tackles. Thomas has been a cornerstone for the Cowboys secondary this year, as he continues to put up good numbers. Thomas’ Pro Football Focus grade is now up to an eye-popping 86.7 on the year and it’s showing no signs of regressing. The Cowboys defeated the Panthers 33-10 on Sunday.

Punter Pressley Harvin III set a career high with nine total punts and a season high four punts inside the 20-yard line for the Steelers this week. Harvin III has been indispensable this year with 22 punts inside the 20-yard line, ranking sixth in the NFL. The Steelers fell to the Browns 13-10 over the weekend.

Harrison Butker continues to be a key piece for the Chiefs this year, going 1-for-1 on field goals and 2-for-2 on extra points this week, bringing his total points on the year up to an astonishing 81. The Chiefs lost to the Eagles 21-17 on Monday Night Football in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl.

Shaq Mason played an integral part for the Texans, who extended their winning streak to three games in a row with a 21-16 win over the Cardinals. Mason is on pace to finish first in offensive snaps played in the NFL, which would be his third season accomplishing this feat.

Defensive end Adam Gotsis added to his strong season for the Jaguars, recording a solo tackle and a stuff over the weekend. The Jaguars beat the Titans 34-14 this Sunday.

Competitive Drive Initiative Turn 2

Looking to build on the success of last year’s Competitive Drive Initiative, Georgia Tech, the Georgia Tech Foundation and Georgia Tech athletics are partnering once again to launch Competitive Drive Initiative Turn 2. CDI Turn 2 has a goal of raising $2.5 million in new gifts to the Alexander-Tharpe Fund’s Athletic Scholarship Fund by Dec. 31, and Georgia Tech and the Georgia Tech Foundation will match eligible gifts to accelerate the impact for Tech athletics. Like last year, not only will gifts to CDI Turn 2 be matched, but so will the contributor’s benefits in the way of A-T Fund giving levels and priority points.
