Georgia Tech #ProJackets Baseball Report

THE FLATS — With the Major League Baseball #ProJackets making a late first half push over the next few weeks before the MLB All-Star break, highlighted by Daniel Palka‘s two home run game for the Chicago White Sox at Cincinnati on July 3, a number of #ProJackets in the minor leagues have been making waves heading into their second half of the 2018 season.

In his first game in Class-A with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in the San Francisco Giants organization, Joey Bart hit not one, but two home runs and has increased his average to .321 over seven minor league games this summer.

Pitcher Brandon Cumpton, who was 4-3 with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the ALPB independent league, had his contract purchased by the Toronto Blue Jays on July 4 and will be sent to the Triple-A Buffalo Bison team. (Story)

Zac Ryan continues to have a strong 2018 season, as the righty, who was recently bumped up to Double-A in the Los Angeles Angels farm system, is 3-1 with three saves and a 3.35 ERA over 45.2 innings of work on the year.

Below is a complete list of Tech #ProJackets playing professionally this season.
