The additions bring to 24 games, including six non-conference contests, that will receive TV coverage for Georgia Tech this season. Tech’s Jan. 6 game against Yale, already set to be televised on the ACC Network, will tip at 7 p.m. The Atlanta affiliate of the ACC Network is Peachtree TV (channel 17 over the air).
All of the Jackets’ remaining non-conference games will be streamed live on the ACC Network Extra, available on the ESPN app, with the exception of their Dec. 6 game at Wofford, which will tip at 7 p.m. and will not be televised. Tech’s non-conference weeknight games against Texas-Rio Grande Valley (Nov. 22), Grambling State (Dec. 1) and Coppin State (Dec. 27) will tip off at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday, Nov. 19 Bethune-Cookman game will start at 2 p.m., and the Sunday, Dec. 17 Florida A&M game will tip at 4 p.m.
Two other time changes to Tech’s games were also announced Friday – the Nov. 28 Big Ten/ACC Challenge game against Northwestern will tip at 7 p.m. (rather than 7:15), and the Feb. 14 game at Wake Forest moves to a 9 p.m. tip (originally 7 p.m.).
The only game time on the Yellow Jackets’ schedule still to be determined is Tech’s ACC opener at Notre Dame on Dec. 30.
All eighteen of Georgia Tech’s Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball games will be televised during the upcoming 2017-18 season, nine of those nationally on ESPN networks. Four of the Jackets non-conference games were previously announced for national TV on an ESPN network – UCLA on Nov. 10, Northwestern on Nov. 28, Tennessee on Dec. 3 and Georgia on Dec. 19.
Season ticket packages for the Yellow Jackets’ sixth season in McCamish Pavilion start at less than $20 per game. Purchasing season tickets guarantee patrons the lowest price per game for all home games.
