Georgia Tech Hosting Danny Hall 1,000 Night Saturday Night

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech Athletic Association is holding Danny Hall 1,000 Night at Russ Chandler Stadium on Saturday night when the Jackets host Florida State. Danny Hall t-shirts will be given away to the first 1,000 people and one lucky fan will win a prize pack valued at $1,000.

Georgia Tech IMG Sports Marketing has provided the prize pack, which includes a $250 gift certificate to Davio’s Restaurant at Phipps Plaza, a one-night stay at the Georgia Tech Hotel, a $100 gift card to the Ramblin’ Wreck Store, a $100 gift card to Barnes & Noble, and a Cuscawilla golf package.

Saturday night’s game versus the Seminoles is set for 6 p.m. and the pregame festivities will start at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are as low as $8 can be purchased online at RamblinWreck.com/tickets or by calling 1-888-TECH-TIX.

In addition, the first 1,000 people through the gate will receive a free Danny Hall t-shirt, and there will other great prizes and giveaways as the 23rd-ranked Yellow Jackets entertain the second-ranked Seminoles for a crucial ACC game on the Flats.

Earlier this season, Coach Hall became just the 47th coach all-time to reach the 1,000-win milestone when the Yellow Jackets beat Virginia Tech, 12-3, on March 16. All-time, Hall has 1,006 wins in 25 years, which is the 16th-most among active Division-I head coaches. Hall has spent 19 years at Tech, winning 798 games.

The FSU series begins Friday night at 7 p.m., while Sunday’s game is set for 1 p.m. The Athletic Association will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt following Sunday’s game.
