ATLANTA – Four Georgia Tech players are among the 20 collegians selected to the 2003 USA Baseball National Team. Making the team are sophomore catcher Mike Nickeas (Westlake Village, Calif.), sophomore second baseman Eric Patterson (Kennesaw, Ga.), freshman shortstop Tyler Greene (Plantation, Fla.) and freshman pitcher/first baseman Micah Owings (Gainesville, Ga.).
The Yellow Jackets place four players on the team while Arizona State, Mississippi and Stanford each had two players make the national team. No other school had more than one player make the roster.

The USA National Team was selected from a pool of 36 players that just completed a four-day trials process at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, Arizona. For a full detailed roster and a schedule of all games, log on to www.usabaseball.com.
