Chat With Victor Menocal Tuesday At 4:00 PM ET

June 10, 2002

On Tuesday, Georgia Tech shortstop Victor Menocal hits chat to discuss the Yellow Jackets’ College World Series chances next week in Omaha. Menocal, one of just three seniors on the Georgia Tech roster in 2002, has helped lead the Yellow Jackets back to the College World Series for the second time in school history. The senior from Gainesville, Ga., has been the anchor of the Tech lineup all season, leading the squad in hits (95) and doubles (20) while being named the Most Valuable Player of the NCAA Atlanta Regional. Earlier this season, he established a new school record with a 30-game hitting streak.

Menocal and the Yellow Jackets will face South Carolina in the first round of the College World Series on Friday.
